This is dad's bedroom. I was packing up Jennifer's belongings to send to ohio where we flew her back to her family for some help.
All of the white marks on the wood walls are from tape that held hundreds of post-it notes from her to Dad. She chose to cover the walls with these notes. It embarressed Dad and he did not understand her at times for behaviors like this.
This is dad's living room in a mess. With boxes across the couch with names of relatives on each one of them. Each and every day, dad went across this room to the coffee pot. He would drink coffee from the time he woke up to right before he went to bed at times. If not coffee at night, then he would drink tea or diet coke.
His girl-friend, Jennifer Gamble, placed his soup bowl on the table where he always sat for meals. That was the last meal she watched him eat and therefore placed that there.
When I arrived at his home the next morning to tell her he had passed away, she had breakfast made for him. She had cooked eggs, bacon, and biscuits. She had his coffee cup set beside his meal.
She was in the shed in back doing laundry waiting on him. I knew she would be a hand-full to handle so I waited until I got some rest that night to inform her. I went ahead and let her sleep because there was nothing I could do until morning with the funeral preperations. I went ahead and called all of the family and asked them to call their particular state relatives. Aunt Greer was to call Mississippi and Gladys was to call Alabama. Mom was to call her Aunt Greer while I went to the hospital in the beginning.
I called my sister that was living in England and my husband, Jeff, then took care of contacting Angela's husband, Kent, which was TDY back here in the U.S. Everything went quick that night.
We donated dad's eyes and bones.

After Jennifer found out that Dad died, she was stuck to me like white on rice. I knew her personality and tried to prepare myself with rest. This tragic event pushed her over the edge and effected her in a most negative manner. She ended up having to recieve help for her stress.
I pray she is doing well now.
